Acts 4:32-33 (NIV)
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.”
Stonebrook Community Church responded to our final public fundraising effort to finance The Ezekiel Project with amazing unity and generosity! The first week of our two week effort brought in the following pledges:
1st Service: $27,847
2nd Service: $28,391
Late/uncounted: $1,585
-------------------------------------
Total: $57,823
For the first time in recorded history, the pastors were speechless. This leaves the Z37 shortfall at $43,224.63 If this faith-filled response continues next Sunday, we will go way over our remaining deficit. Please pray for that!! The building committee had to cut a number of items out of our plans in order to meet budget that we could add back in to create an even more impressive facility to serve our campus ministry and the entire Ames community.
If you have not pledged to the Z37 project yet, please pray about what God would have you do this week. We really desire to bring God glory through this effort not only by having an effective ministry outpost for years to come, but also by being “one in heart and mind” to build bridges to the lost and hurting world.
